As a Chinese person, I recently noticed that one of the most popular brands in China, Xiaomi, has just released a new car that is overwhelmingly loved by drivers.

Today, I will focus on the design and the value behind this well-known car.

​The Xiaomi SU7 is a full-size electric sedan introduced by Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi in December 2023, marking the company’s entry into the automotive industry. The SU7 is available in four versions: SU7, SU7 Pro, SU7 Max, and SU7 Ultra. The SU7 features a sleek design with smooth curves on the front and sides, complemented by a distinctive compact ducktail spoiler and halo-style taillights at the rear.

Similar to most luxury cars, from the side the contours are elegant and from the front, the low-lying stance delivers full impact.

The front and sides feature smooth, flowing curves that complement the dynamic, high-tension wheel design. At the back, a distinctive compact ducktail spoiler and striking halo-style taillights make for an unmistakable look.

The standard SU7 is equipped with a 73.6 kWh LFP battery, delivering a range of 700 km (CLTC) and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.28 seconds. The SU7 Max features a 101 kWh NMC battery, providing an 800 km range and achieving 0 to 100 km/h in 2.78 seconds. The high-performance SU7 Ultra boasts a triple-motor setup with a combined output of 1,138 kW, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds and reaching a top speed of over 350 km/h.
